Davis Square Snarkarama
Still unfixed a day later.|
My first question was "why are they talking about Minneapolis?" My second question was "Do people refer to camberville as 'the twin cities' around here?"
I know, right? I did the same thing.

I think only in the context of the 'twin cities plaza', which isn't where that story takes place.
(the 'twin cities plaza' is the strip mall across from sav-mor liquors that has a big supermarket, a dollar store, some kind of guitar place, and which used to have a service merchandise and i'm old so i still think of it as "the service merchandise stripmall" sometimes)
There is a 'Twin City Plaza' off McGrath highway, with a Shaw's and a Marshall's. It used to also have a Service Merchandise and an Office Max.
I guess the developer called it that because it straddles the Cambridge-Somerville city line. But of course this is not where Target and AJ Wright are located.

Yes, exactly! He was doubly wrong, assigning the wrong name to the wrong plaza.
And then he took the trouble to respond in the comments but not to correct the story.
That article so confused me...
